Sense about Science ? equipping people to make sense of science and evidence
Evidence Matters is a new public campaign for accountable public policy – we aim to press policymakers, commentators and professionals to use evidence effectively and transparently. With the 2015 General Election approaching, we will share many opportunities to help create that pressure – to begin with, you can:
- Ask for Evidence when you see public figures making claims. Asking puts politicians, journalists and professionals on notice that we expect their claims to be backed by reliable evidence – something our growing network of experts can help you judge
- Share our campaign stories with your friends. This will help grow the public voice celebrating the good use of evidence, agitating for change when it’s misused, and discussing how we handle uncertainty in the way evidence informs policy
- Become a partner organisation of Evidence Matters – contact us to find out how.
