Sense about Science ? equipping people to make sense of science and evidence
Fundraise for us
Fundraising for us could make a huge difference to our work. So get running, jumping, pedalling or baking
A growing number of our supporters are using their imagination and enthusiasm to raise money for us.
Fundraising not only helps us survive as a charity, it raises awareness of the work we do. We couldn’t buy the publicity our supporters’ passion brings.
What can I do?
Anything that you can think of – marathons, fun runs, bake sales, parachute jumps, quiz nights or triathlons. Persuade your office to have a bad-taste clothes day, do a sponsored silence: basically, whatever you can think of.
Aoife Hunt raised money for us with a parachute jump: “An amazing (and terrifying) experience, a warm feeling from helping a cause I really believe in and the chance to meet the lovely people at Sense about Science.”
Lauren Taylor raised money for us by taking part in a roller skating marathon: “The Sense About Science team really were with me for every roll of the way… blisters and sore legs are a small price to pay for knowledge”.
