Public Views on Scientific Evidence

A study conducted by Ipsos MORI for Sense About Science.

These are the results from an Ipsos MORI study, which found that over half of the British public understands that science is a process of testing and questioning.

The research was conducted carried out between 13th and 18th March 2008. A nationally representative sample of 2,024 adults age 16 and over was interviewed throughout Great Britain in 198 constituency-based sampling points. The data have been weighted for gender, age, region, and social class to reflect the known population of Great Britain.
